What is the Pokémon Trading Card Game?

The Pokémon Trading Card Game (Pokémon TCG) is a collectible card game based on the Pokémon series created by Nintendo, Game Freak, and Creatures. It was first released by Wizards of the Coast in Japan in 1996 and worldwide in 1999. Today, it is published by The Pokémon Company International.

Pokémon TCG is a strategic two-player game where each player uses a 60-card deck. The goal is to defeat the opponent’s Pokémon and claim six Prize cards to win the match.
