  1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

In the process of explaining policies, specific bold or capitalised terms are assigned a specific meaning. The following terms and conditions shall be defined for the purposes of the Rules of Procedure as follows:

1.1 DEFINITIONS

  1. BaseStack Battle Arena – Sports and Educational (hereinafter referred to as the Tournament).
    2. Organiser – BaseStack Battle Arena is organised by BaseStack Łódź BS SPV 7 Ltd.
    3. Tournament Administrator – The Tournament Administrator is Aleksy Kaczmarzyk.
    4. Player – A player within the meaning of these Terms and Conditions is anyone who submitted to the Tournament.
    5. Application Form – a form placed at the address www.basestack.gg for registration of the Player.
    6. Tournament Administrator – the person designated by the Organiser to conduct the Tournament.
    7. Slot – a place to participate in the Tournament.

1.2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

  1. The Organiser has predicted 32 tournament Slots.
    2. The Organiser reserves the right to increase the number of Slots in case of greater interest in the Tournament than anticipated.
    3. The player applying for the Tournament is also the owner of the Slot and can manage it freely.
    4. A player applying for the Tournament must play in our own PS account.
    5. The time that the Organiser reserves to make public the full list of Players participating in the Tournament is a maximum of 1 day.

1.3. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

Only Players who have submitted their participation to the Tournament Organiser and have paid a registration fee are allowed to participate in the Tournament.
A Player cannot participate in the same Tournament more than once.

2.1. PLAYER SUBMISSION

  1. The Player’s application takes place by filling in the Application Form, available on the BaseStack website at www.basestack.gg. By submitting a properly completed Application Form to the Organiser, you accept the terms and conditions of the Rules.
  2. Any entries that are received after the deadline may not be considered by the Organiser. Applications received after the deadline will be entered on the reserve list.
  3. The Application Form must be completed and sent in accordance with the instructions in the form.
  4. In order to verify the Player correctly, you must fill in all required data in the application form provided.
  5. There is a total ban on the use of profanity or words generally considered offensive in reported player nicknames, team names, communication with teams and tournament administrator, and the use of profile pictures by players that contain profanity, depict images generally considered offensive or prohibited by Polish law.

2.2. REGISTRATION FEE

  1. A Player’s entry is subject to a one-time registration fee, the value of which will be stated in the Tournament information on the www.basestack.gg.
    2. The registration fee remains an independent buy-in amount, which is non-refundable.
    3. The registration fee must be paid at the venue prior to the start of the Tournament.
    4. The Organiser reserves the right not to allow the Player into the Tournament in case of failure to pay the registration fee within the time limit set by the Organiser.
  1. GAMEPLAY

3.1. GAMEPLAY

  1. Tournament will be played in double elimination bracket.
  2. Validate your game account:
    If you have a bad game account, please inform the Tournament Administrator before playing.
  1. The organizer reserves the right to change the format from double elimination ladder to group + single elimination ladder format if the number of participants does not meet the requirements of a properly functioning double elimination ladder.

3.2. REPORTING RESULTS

After the game, the Player is obliged to report the result to the Tournament Administrator or the referee who will be appointed by him or her.

3.3. AWARDS

  1. The winner will be announced as the BaseStack Battle Arena – Mortal Kombat 11 Solo Champion. Prizes are awarded to the top three placements. First place: ASTRO A40 Gaming Headset, Second place: LED Mouse Pad and Third place: BaseStack T-shirt.
  2. The Organiser reserves the right to increase the prize pool in the event of sponsor involvement.
  3. The Prize Pool of the Tournament will be divided by the Organiser.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to consult the selection of prizes in kind with the awarded Players.
  5. The list of prizes will be made available by the Organiser at the latest one week before the start of the Tournament.

3.4. UNFAIR PLAY

  1. It is strictly forbidden to use game bugs and third-party programs that directly or indirectly affect the gameplay.
    2. It is forbidden to play on someone else’s MK11 account – players will play in our own accounts.
    3. It is forbidden to change the server to a different one than Europe during the Tournament.
    4. Cheating during a match means removing a Player from the Tournament.
    5. Once the result has been accepted and the match room has been closed, any objections and appeals against the verdict will not be possible.
    6. Players who have been caught cheating are disqualified from the Tournament and are prohibited from participating in Tournaments and events organised by BaseStack Łódź BS SPV 7 Sp. z o.o.
    7. A player who is disqualified from the Tournament is not entitled to a refund of the registration fee.
  2. FINAL PRINCIPLES
  3. By submitting a Player to the BaseStack Battle Arena, you agree to the terms and conditions above.
    2. Any questions related to the Tournament can be addressed via email to lodz@basestack.gg.
  4. The Organiser reserves the right to change the Rules at any point there.
    4. The Organiser will inform the Players of any changes related to the Tournament Rules.
    5. All arrangements made by means of procedures other than those indicated in the Rules shall not be considered.
    6. The Organiser reserves the right, in exceptional disputes, to take a decision contrary to the Rules for the sake of a spirit of healthy competition – fair-play.
    7. All rights in BaseStack Battle Arena materials belong to the Organiser. These materials are photos taken during the Tournament, a stream recording of the Tournament and video recordings during the Tournament.
    8. Any inaccuracies and issues not contained in the Rules will be resolved only by contacting the Organiser. In such exceptional situations, the final decision shall be taken by the Organiser.
