1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

In the process of explaining policies, specific bold or capitalised terms are assigned a specific meaning. The following terms and conditions shall be defined for the purposes of the Rules of Procedure as follows:

1.1 DEFINITIONS

  1. BaseStack Battle Arena – sports and educational competitions (hereinafter referred to as the Tournament).
  2. Organiser – BaseStack Battle Arena is organised by BaseStack Łódź, Base Stack SPV z.o.o.
  3. Tournament Administrator – the Tournament Administrator is Mariusz Dziarmaga.
  4. Team – a team consisting of at least 5 people. Team members are also registered reserve players and coach.
  5. Player – A player within the meaning of these Rules is each member of the submitted Team.
  6. Captain – a person representing the Team and making decisions on its behalf.
  7. Application Form – the form at www.basestack.gg to register a Team/Player.
  8. Tournament Administrator – the person designated by the Organiser to conduct the Tournament.
  9. Slot – a place to participate in the Tournament.

1.2. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

  1. The Organiser has predicted 16 tournament slots.
  2. The Organiser reserves the right to increase the number of Slots in case of greater interest in the Tournamentthan anticipated.
  3. The person submitting the Team is also the owner of the Slot and can manage it freely.
  4. The time that the Organiser reserves to make public the full list of Teams participating in the Tournament is a maximum of 1 day.

1.3. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION

  1. Only Teams that have applied for the Tournament Organiser and made a registration fee are allowed to participate in the Tournament.
  2. The Tournament is for Teams that have at least 5 players.
  3. Each Team has the right to submit one Reserve Player.
  4. A player (including a reserve) cannot be a Player of another Team in parallel, even if the original Team falls out of the Tournament.

2. REGISTRATION

2.1. TEAM SUBMISSION

  1. Registration for the Tournament runs for at least two weeks prior to the date published for the event until 23:59 the day before the event or until the seats are exhausted.
  2. The Team application takes place by completing the Application Form, available on the BaseStack website at www.basestack.gg. Sending the Organiser a properly completed Application Form constitutes acceptance of the terms and conditions.
  3. Any entries that are received after the deadline may not be considered by the Organiser. Applications received after the deadline will be entered on the reserve list.
  4. The Application Form must be completed and sent in accordance with the instructions in the form.
    1. In order to properly verify the Team, you must fill in all required data in the Application Form provided.
    2. There is a total ban on the use of profanity or words generally considered offensive in reported player nicknames, team names, communication with teams and tournament administrator, and the use of profile pictures by players that contain profanity, depict images generally considered offensive or prohibited by Polish law.
    3. Changes to the reported composition of the Team may be made until 23:59 the day prior to the date published for the event.

    2.2. REGISTRATION FEE

    1. A Team entry is subject to a one-time registration fee, the value of which will be stated in the Tournament information on the www.basestack.gg.
    2. The registration fee remains an independent buy-in amount, which is non-refundable.
    3. The registration fee must be paid on site before the Tournament starts.
    4. The correct verification of the fee will be determined by the date it was posted.
    5. The Organiser reserves the right not to allow the Team to the Tournament in case of non-payment of the registration fee within the period set by the Organiser.

    3. GAMEPLAY

    3.1. FORMAT OF THE COMPETITION

    1. The Tournament will take place in the format of a single elimination bracket.
    2. Matches will be played in the Best Of 1 format, i.e. up to one game won.
    3. A match is deemed to have ended if one of the Teams wins 16 rounds.
    4. In the event of a draw, the Teams play extra time, in which the winner is the Team that wins the 4th round in that overtime.

    3.2. GAMEPLAY

    1. Join the game lobby. The Tournament server is provided by the Organiser. Team Captains will get information on how to connect to the prepared server before the start of the match.
    2. Select a map and page. The map is selected by the Team higher in the Tournament  bracket. The side is selected by the Team below the Tournament bracket.
    3. Pool of available maps in the Tournament:
      1. de_dust2
      2. de_inferno
      3. de_mirage
      4. de_nuke
      5. de_overpass
      6. de_vertigo
      7. de_ancient
    4. Validate your game account.
      1. If any of the opposing Team Players are not on the Team and/or have a bad game account, please inform the opposing Team before playing. The opposing Team is obliged to change the player or playing in weakness.
      2. If the opposing Team ignores the comments and/or does not wish to change the player, please report it to the Tournament Organiser, whose decision will be final.
    5. The course of the match.
      1. If a player is disconnected before the start of the first round, the Team has the right to request that the game start again.
      2. If a Player is disconnected during the game, the match continues and the Player can return at any time. If the Player is unable to return to the game, the Team plays the match in a weakened state.
      3. There is an absolute ban on other people logging into the player’s account that is kicked out of the game – in case of violation of the ban, the Organiser imposes a penalty of disqualification of the Team from the match.
      4. At the end of the match, the Captain of the winning Team reports the result to the Tournament Administrator or to the referee who has been designated by him.
    6. Pause:
      1. Each Team has 2 pauses to use during the match.
      2. Pauses must not be longer than 3 minutes.
      3. It is forbidden to use pause for obvious reasons, such as connection problems or disconnection of one of the players, or a hardware problem.
      4. The Team that takes advantage of the pause is obliged to inform the opposing Team and the Tournament Administrator immediately of the floods.
      5. The Tournament Administrator reserves the right to oblige the team to use a pause for other problems during the match that require it to stop. In this case, the pause time allocated to each Team remains intact.
      6. Abuse of the regular pause time may result in the Team being punished or disqualified from the Tournament.

    3.3. REPORTING RESULTS

    1. At the end of the game, the winning Team reports the result to the Tournament Administrator.
    2. Any conflicts in this regard are resolved by the Tournament Administrator or the person supporting the administration in agreement with the Captains of the Teams  concerned.
    3. Once you have entered the result and closed the match room, you will not be able to appeal the verdict.
    4. By entering the result, you are accepting it.

    3.4. AWARDS

    1. The best two Teams advance to the BaseStack Championship Series – CS:GO title grand final.
    2. All teams that participate in the qualification tournament will receive a BaseStack mouse mat.

    3.5. UNFAIR PLAY

    1. It is strictly forbidden to use game bugs and third-party programs that directly or indirectly affect the gameplay.
    2. It is forbidden to play on someone else’s accounts to play CS:GO.
    3. Cheating during a match means removing the entire Team from the Tournament.
    4. Once the result has been accepted and the match room has been closed, any objections and appeals against the verdict will not be possible.
    5. Players or Teams that have been caught cheating are disqualified from participating in Tournaments and events organized by BaseStack Łódź BS SPV 7 Ltd.
    6. A disqualified Team is not eligible for a registration fee refund.

    4. FINAL PRINCIPLES

    1. By enrolling a Team in the BaseStack Battle Arena, you accept the terms and conditions above.
    2. Any questions related to the Tournament can be addressed via email to mariusz@basestack.gg.
    3. The Organiser reserves the right to change the Rules at any point there.
    4. The Organiser will inform the Teams affected by the change of any changes  related to the Tournament Rules.
    5. All arrangements made by means of procedures other than those indicated in the Rules shall not be taken into account.
    6. The Organiser reserves the right, in exceptional disputes, to take a decision contrary to the Regulations for the sake of the spirit of healthy competition – fair-play.
    7. All rights in BaseStack Battle Arena materials belong to the Organiser. These materials are photos taken during the Tournament, a stream recording  of the  Tournament and video recordings during the  Tournament.
    8. Any inaccuracies and issues not contained in the Rules will be resolved only by contacting the Organiser. In such exceptional situations, the final decision shall be taken by the Organiser.
